Today I decided to update my wobbly ninja, which is a really fun/loose way to draw something. I basically draw very simple geometric shapes in inkscape (below), then select all the points in the shape and force them to be curves instead of sharp corners. The fun part is not allowing myself to make any little adjustments, and just let the results be what they are.

Every collection should feature a ninja, so here it is. “I am ninja, you are ninja, he is ninja too. Wouldn’t you like to be a ninja spoon?”
One of the best parts of Eon Kid is the character design for all the different robot characters. This is one of Black Beauty’s ninja bots. Several of the other good and bad characters had their own distinctive robot forces that they led.
I was asked to draw a ninja beaver for a logo at work, and after coming up with this concept. I ended up finding someone else’s ninja beaver online afterwards that had a similar head scarf, but their’s was much cuter. I think his ears are a little too big, so I’ll have to fix that when I color it.
Today when I got home from a long day at work, I was lounging around in my work clothes for most of the night. My oldest thought that was unacceptable, and asked if I thought I was some kind of Hobo Ninja? Really?
We took the boys to see Gnomeo and Juliet this afternoon, which was a pretty fun romp full of Shakespearian puns and Elton John tunes. My favorite scene had to be the black sock ninja.
We watched the second Cats and Dogs movie tonight which reminded me of the funny Ninja Siamese cats in the first movie.
This was just a goofy doodle I did where I drew something close to normal shapes and then let inkscape warp them.
Today I think I may have come across the funniest picture on the internet, period. It comes courtesy of Dan’s a LEGO a day blog.
I’ve been getting behind on the requests lately, so I thought I would try to catch up this weekend. Someone at work asked me to put the debate about pirates vs ninjas to bed, and combine the two. So, we had a lengthy discussion about what traits of each to use, and this was the result. I’ll probably get it colored sometime soon.
I’ve noticed that I’ve been using my Ninja Monkey “Wook-Ah” noise a lot lately? Not sure why but this guy doing the crane is about to hand some Cobra-Kai a little hurt.
So after I drew this, I realized that I must have some deep seeded fear of a ninja pointing two fingers at me. I’m pretty sure that my Snake Eyes doodle a while ago was in the same pose. Oh well, beware the pointing ninja!
Who would win? No one knows…
