This was a request I got a little while back for “Rufus (from The Dreamstone) grown to a 60ft. giant.” I’ve never seen the show before, and the internet was fairly devoid of decent references, so I hope they like it?

Tonight the boys and I took Papa to the local Outdoor world and the LEGO store to get out of the house. At Outdoor World, they have a huge fish tank, that used to house this monster of a catfish, but he was gone this time. I’m pretty sure the inevitable happened and some kid tapped on the glass one too many times.
Today I started a Packet Analysis class, which delves into the enormous overhead that gets those little bytes of information to and fro. It’s pretty easy to miss a bit here or there though.
This is just another reminder of why the phone company should pay you to text instead of the other way around.
Today we got to see way too many cool things at Williamsburg to list here, and we even had a chance to head down to Jamestown before heading home. Unfortunately, we had to drive home through traffic and pouring rain, so we didn’t get home until pretty late.
This weekend we’re going to Colonial Williamsburg with Papa and Grandma. The first day we didn’t get here until around 2pm so we didn’t see too much, but we got to walk around and the boys got some sweet hats! Tomorrow we’ll get off to a earlier start.
Tonight I got to play some Wii sports with my father-in-law while the ladies were playing cards. I gave me an excuse to try out this stormtrooper Mii idea I saw on the internet. Now I just need to play him a lot to build up his stats.
I was trolling around a couple of art blogs today and saw a striking illustration of a Bengal tiger, so I thought I would doodle one up.
The inspiration in question is a painting my Paul Sullivan: here
The local redbox machines are finally carrying Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths so I rented it for tonight and thought I’d doodle up a little Chibi Batman.

I came across this awesome series of cute Star Wars people by Joe Wright so I though I’d try to do a cartoony version of Darth Maul.

I thought today I would draw some random lines and start connecting them, and this is what resulted.
We were invited over to a friends for a grill-out today and they had put a little tent up on the lawn so the kids could play LEGOs without having to run in and out of the house. I thought that was a pretty good idea, so I doodled this camping idea.
Tonight the boys finally got to watch Astro Boy for our Friday movie night. I think it’s a wonderfully simple yet compelling movie!
I got a pretty funny joke at work today about a little old lady driver and a bumper sticker. I won’t post it here, but it had me cracking up. I already drive like an old man, so I can relate.
