Not sure where this came from, but she looks like she gives the boys on her street a run for their money.

I know, lame pun but I couldn’t really think of anything else. 500 days and counting!
My wife flew back home this morning with the boys for a week of vacation, which I can’t join them on this year. That’s why the plane is so sad.
I got a request on from Hernandez to draw the Big Bad Wolf from Little Red Riding Hood, “putting a night cap on his head after swallowing the grandmother,” so this is what I came up with. I hope they like it!
I was asked to draw a version of a character someone had created so this is how it came out. I hope they like it!
We’ve been trying to use Netflix to watch movies that the boys really enjoyed but haven’t watched for awhile, so for our Friday night movie, we watched The Tales of Desperaux. This movie has beautiful animation and a great story based on a wonderful book. The pacing is a little slow in parts so our youngest got a little restless.
Tonight I took the boys to see Shrek: Forever After which was much better then the third one. I honestly don’t remember that many potty jokes, the action and animation were stellar, and they wrapped up the whole franchise story well. Hopefully they don’t ruin it by trying to milk more money out of another movie.
You ever have to take a test where you’re not quite sure which is the best answer?
Today, the whole family went to Six Flags for the day! They have a new Thomas the Tank Engine area which was very family friendly and we all hit up some roller-coasters before heading over to the waterpark. Our youngest son is just barely over 48″ which meant he could get on a ton of rides he couldn’t last year! We even saw someone dressed up as that crazy old dude when we were there.
Our oldest Son has been wanting to see the Disney Atlantis: Milo’s Return movie forever so we finally decided to get the disc from Netflix and watch it. Unfortunately, the movie just wasn’t what he had hoped it would be. It lost a lot of the Mike Mignola influence and the art in general just wasn’t nearly as good as the first Atlantis movie. He still enjoyed watching it, but I was a little disappointed.
We ran a little low on Rat food tonight and it was too late to hit the pet store, so we decided to make them a nice mix of fruit, carrots, what was left of their pellets and a little cheese. It was funny to watch them sort through it because the both seemed to like different things.
Happy Father’s day to all you dads out there! In honor of the day, here’s a really awesome pencil drawing my dad drew that he gave to our boys.
For Father’s day weekend, I finally got my ’86 Chevy Pickup running again. She needed a new carburetor and the gas in the tank needed to get siphoned out. I was giddy as a little kid when she started up again. I got this truck 15 years ago in high-school, and have no intentions of getting rid of it. She ain’t that pretty, but I still love her! The boys love going for rides in her too!
Tonight I got to playing LEGO with the boys and thought I’d try to figure out a rubber band gun. I put a photo of the trigger workings and a profile shot below.
Sorry, just some more nerd humor… though I don’t know how funny it is?
