Doodle 593 - Flintstone's Birthday

Google was nice enough to inform us that today was the Flintstone’s birthday, so I thought old Dino could use a little doodling…  I always loved that silly dinosaur!

Doodle 592 - Internet Meme's

My  nephew asked me about a month ago to draw these three weird little dudes from the internet.  They are Dr.Octogonapus, Weejee, and MOAR krabs.  I hope he likes them.

Here are a few more of his doodles that I’ve been meaning to sprinkle in since this summer.

Doodle 591 – Colony Finale

Doodle 591 - Colony Finale

Tonight was the finale of the second Colony experiment.  Overall, I think this season was a lot more realistic (no doctor or a trio of engineers) but the last few minutes of the finale were a little disappointing.

Doodle 590 - Iron Man 2

Tonight I checked our Netflix Queue and it looks like they already sent out my Iron Man 2 disc so I should get it on release day!!!  I had to draw the little guy from the end of the movie for my doodle…

Doodle 589 – American Conquest Divided Nation

Doodle 589 - American Conquest Divided Nation

Tonight I finally caved and installed American Conquest – Divided Nations on my laptop so we could battle it out over our LAN.  His little brother kept running back and forth and being quite the informant.  It was a pretty fun little game, but I forgot how long it takes to play strategy games.

I’ve been short on time lately for the doodles, so I might have to start putting up more work without inking it.

Doodle 588 – Reading Club Signs

Doodle 588 - Reading Club Signs

Our son’s school asked me to make up some signs to put around the library for their reading club, so I stole some graphics I’d made for their certificates and came up with these three.  Now to print them to card stock, cut them out, and laminate.

Doodle 587 – Sid the Sloth

Doodle 587 - Sid the Sloth

Tonight our Youngest wanted to watch Ice Age 3: Dawn of the Dinosaurs.  I always loved the ridiculous scene at the beginning when Sid decides to be a mother to a trio of huge eggs he finds.

Doodle 586 - Wolowitz Robotic Arm

On Big Bang Theory tonight, Howard Wolowitz had some funny misadventures with one of his engineering marvels.

Doodle 585 - I Support Monkey Business

I don’t know where this idea came from, I really don’t…

Doodle 584 – Snake Eyes

September 21, 2010

Doodle 584 - Snake Eyes

Tonight I finally got to see G.I.Joe Resolute, which was a pretty good action packed flick.  I thought Snake Eyes was even cooler in this video then usual (if that’s possible).  I used the same Barney Stinson pose from yesterday, but added some kung-fu grip hands…

Doodle 583 – NPH

Doodle 583 - NPH

Tonight the new Fall season of some of our favorite shows started, so I thought I’d doodle up Neil Patrick Harris as Barney Stinson on the computer real quick.  That character is appalling and likable at the same time.

Doodle 582 - Eve Fast Paint

The Disney channel had Wall-E on the other night and I recorded it, so I sat down and watched it with the boys after we got back from the park and a really long walk.

Doodle 581 - Tiger Paw

I was just playing with shapes and curves and this was the result.

Doodle 580 – Clone Trooper Helmet

Doodle 580 - Clone Trooper Helmet

Tonight was the premiere of the new season of Star Wars: The Clone Wars.  One of the cool things was during the commercial breaks prior to the show they kept showing this simple two-toned graphic of a clone helmet.  That inspired this doodle, which for all it’s simplicity took twice as long as I wanted it to.
