Doodle 624 - Boys Costumes

The boys went around the street tonight with some of their friends to pillage some candy.  Our youngest was Jango Fett and his big brother was General Patton.  We had all the boys pose for pictures on the lawn, hence the crazy poses.  I decided to hold our friends baby and stay at the house to hand out candy, for which I was called a fuddy-duddy…

Doodle 623 - Viking Trick-or-Treater

Our oldest son has been drawing a lot of Vikings lately since How to Train Your Dragon came out this month and he’s been reading some of the books at school.  He asked me to draw this so here it is, plus I put some of his stuff below.

Doodle 622 - G-Force Mole (New Worst Doodle Ever)

For our Friday night movie, we decided to watch G-Force on Netflix streaming.  The boys hadn’t seen it for a while, and I can’t help but identify with the helpless, nerdy mole.  Until the end that is…

Today I think I may have come across the funniest picture on the internet, period.  It comes courtesy of Dan’s a LEGO a day blog.

Doodle 620 - Barn

I helped my wife with a visual aid idea she had for a class.  She watched the documentary “Food Inc.”, and wanted to illustrate the fallacy of the imagery used in food packaging.  So we made a barn with the doors cut to open and a Wordle collage of some truths about the industry.

Doodle 619 - Darkseid Popcorn

I got the newest DC movie in the mail today, Superman/Batman: Apocalypse.  It was really good, though you would think that Supergirl would have been in the name of the movie somewhere.  Got a little hungry for a snack in the middle of the movie and this idea occurred to me.

Doodle 618 - Tribal Cross

I was looking through one of my old sketch books from 8-10 years ago and came across a bunch of stuff that I would like to clean up on the computer.  One of my favourites was this tribal cross.

Doodle 617 - Fort Roof

I had a little time this today so I ripped the old roof off the boys fort and built a new one with all the sturdy sticks and limbs that have been falling lately.  The old one was starting to sag a bit.

Doodle 616 - Chinchilla (worst doodle ever)

We had lunch at our favorite pizza place and decided to hop over to the pet store on our way to the car.  For some odd reason, I’m smitten with the Chinchilla’s.  Maybe I’ll get on for a pet when the boys are older.

Doodle 615 - Spider-man Animated

Today we found that most of the Spectacular Spider-man cartoon is available for streaming on Netflix, so the little one and I watched a couple of episodes.  He’s a pretty big Spider-man fan…

Doodle 613 - Funny Hat

A part of a noble tradition, on the first day of working on one’s own, we get to wear a funny hat, the whole time, for 5 hours.  I got lots of funny looks.

Doodle 611 - Captain America

I’ve been watching a lot of cartoons lately and for some reason Captain America popped in my head, so I thought I would draw something real quick.
