The frame we have for our friend’s son holds three cards so I think I’ll doodle a pose on each side and then something like this in the middle.

We decided to do some doodles for our friend’s son who is quite smitten with Boba Fett for his birthday. I’ll draw them on the little trading cards we have and frame them, but this was just a warm up while I was thinking about what to doodle.
The latest Disney feature film Tangled was released today, and my wife absolutely loved that movie. My favorite character had to be the valiant steed Maximus.
I had an idea to make a little hotrod themed robot, but never ended up having much time to doodle it. This is sort of what I was thinking of, but not quite right. Maybe another day?
If only he’d paid more attention to putting his tools back in the bag, he might not have been in this predicament.
Just when some tulips thought it was time to sprout, it got all crazy cold again. Bet they wish they had a bubble goose to keep them warm.
We thought we’d give one of the entry level Bluray players a try, mostly to have Netflix on something other then the Wii. We definitely didn’t expect blistering performance, but I at least expected it to be able to perform the basic functions it was designed for. Unfortunately, the model we tried, once a DVD or Bluray had been viewed, would overlay video artifacts of the disc on top of any Netflix stream (even if the disc had been removed and the machine had been powered on and off. The only solution was to unplug it, which can only be done at the end of the cord, since it doesn’t unplug at the back of the unit. Not keeping it, which is sad since we’ve been very happy with other products from this company.
My youngest son was flipping through one of his Hot Wheels coloring books, and asked me to draw an old car. I wish I had more time to doodle something better, but this is what I came up with.
I didn’t have a whole lot of time for doodling today so I just played around with a scrap of paper and some Pitt markers.
… not Soda.
I showed bright and early this morning for the test, now I’ll just have to wait awhile to see how I did. I haven’t really had much time lately to play video games, so I played Guitar Hero for a few hours after the boys were in bed to relax.
With our friends visiting, the kids were all out playing in the back, I thought I’d break out some shorts for the first time this year. Thus, all were subjected to my pasty whiteness, not to mention my bright red leg hair, which I darn not attempt to depict. It was still a little brisk though.
We’re having some friends over tomorrow, so I was picking up in the backyard and couldn’t help noticing that the boys had set up what I can only describe as little plastic troop emplacements around a groundhog’s den. I’m sure they were just playing in the sand the groundhog had kicked out, but it may be in for a surprise the next time it pops out.
