Doodle 930 – Lego Monster

doodle 930 - lego monster

Today Dave and I took our oldest son to the mall to visit the video, books, and LEGO stores.  We got two of the new series 5 LEGO figures and ended up with a Dinosaur guy, which instantly reminded me of one of my favorite lines from an Austin Powers movie.

Japanese Man 1: RUN! IT’S GODZILLA!
Japanese Man 2: It looks like Godzilla, but due to international copyright laws – it’s not.
Japanese Man 1: STILL! WE SHOULD RUN LIKE IT IS GODZILLA!
Japanese Man 2: Though it isn’t.
[Japanese Man 2 Winks at Camera; both scream and run away]

I love this image. Did you draw it? My son is looking for an image to use for his First Lego League team. They are called the Tech Monsters. Could we use your image for our team? I didn’t want to use something without permission. Thanks,

Yay!!! Thank you so much!! My son is super excited. He showed the drawing to his friends today at his practice and they loved it. He is part of the First Lego League Team. This is their first year competing and they named themselves the Tech Monsters. Your drawing suits them perfectly. Thanks again for allowing them to use the image.

I also have a first lego league team named “LEGO MONSTERS” TEAM #10275. We are also interested in using your image on for our team logo. Would you be okay with this?

We would leave your image intact with your name in the image as credit.

  4. Eric Schultz Says:

Sure – Color would work for us. We are in the Wisconsin region, and the other team is in St. Louis, MO. We probably won’t meet against each other, but I appreciate the thought. I like the design a lot and thought it would make a great logo.

    Thank you.
