Doodle 818 – Uno Attack

doodle 818 - Uno Attack

My wife’s parents are in town visiting so we all sat down for a nice game of Uno Attack.  Nice, except for the fact that the little card spitting monster hates me, and I always got way more cards, way more often then everyone else.

doodle 804 - LEGO Roadster 2

I liked the little roadster we built yesterday so much, that I started another one when I was playing with the boys after work today.  This one is a storm trooper police enforcer, determined to catch one of those reckless rebel speeders.

doodle 803 - LEGO Roadster

My son has been really into building LEGO cars lately and he asked me to build one with him, so this was the little roadster I came up with.  Here are a few of his sweet rides.

doodle 798 - force jitsu

Before we leave Germany I did a few doodles for our friends sons, one of which was the mash-up of LEGO Star Wars and LEGO Ninjago.

doodle 796 - creationary rex

Today the boys and I were playing LEGO Creationary and I ended up building this T-Rex between games.  I think at least one of these guys might make it to safety.

Doodle 795 - LEGO Hazmat Guys

So even though we’re in a different country on vacation, the boys still can’t pass up a chance to buy LEGO guys from a toy store we passed.  They ended up getting a few HAZMAT guys and a hockey player.

doodle 780 - thrift shop

I have to go into work late tonight, so I got to spend the day with the wife after we put the boys on the bus.  We decided to head over to the local thrift shop were I scored an almost complete Star Wars Galactic Heroes cinema scene, and an eletronic/credit card Monopoly game!

Doodle 743 – LEGO Car v.3

Doodle 743 - LEGO v.3

Never one to leave good enough alone, I decided to rework the LEGO car one last time before tearing it apart.  I went with a little more complicated gearing to get more top end speed while trying to keep the overall build cleaner then the previous two.

Doodle 741 - LEGO Bumper Car

I was playing around with the dargster I built the other day and decided to make a bi directional bumper car.  The top bumpers are rigged to the switch so it will just bounce back and forth between anything it hits.

Doodle 740 - Captain America Mask

We ran to Target real quick tonight and they had the coolest masks in the toy aisle for Captain America, Spider-man, Wolverine, Thor…  Our youngest son thought they were cool, but our pre-teen was convinced that if he tried one on, I would take a picture and send it to all his friends.  Oh the angst…

Doodle 738 - LEGO Dragster

Tonight I got the box of Technics out and built a motorized dragster.  The front bumper reverses the direction when it hits something, so it somewhat returns to you.

Doodle 736 - Panthro Redesign

I’ve been seeing a few bits and pieces of a new Thundercats show popping up here and there, so I thought I’d doodle a little different version of Panthro.

Doodle 731 - Rumikub Tile

Tonight the wife and I headed to the game closet to ffind something to play and decided on Rumikub.  It’s really an insanely fun game, though I have a tendency to take forever on a turn, and some of my more complicated moves end up not working.

Doodle 714 – LEGO Rock Band

Doodle 714 - LEGO Rock Band

We found LEGO Rock Band on sale at the LEGO store the other day, but we only have Guitar Hero istruments for our Wii.  After finding many accounts on the internet that our instruments would work, plus the game developer’s website, I went back and bought it.  The boys and I were rocking our bricks off for the rest of the day!
