Doodle 963 – Pacha

Doodle 963 - Pacha

Another not so mainstream movie today, this is Pacha from The Emperor’s New Groove, voiced by John Goodman.  A simple family man, who is the heart of the whole story.

Doodle 962 – Archimedes

Doodle 962 - Archimedes

Thinking of a few of the more obscure Disney movies, I thought I’d doodle Archimedes from The Sword in the Stone.  He was the voice of reason for many scenes in the movie and the comic relief for many others.  Grumpy owls who are self absorbed are always worth drawing.

Doodle 961 - Vincenzo Santorini

What’s not to like about a guys who’s favorite things are flowers and explosives.  Plus, he was always ready with a snarky quip.

Doodle 960 - Lumiere

My favorite character from Beauty and the Beast has to be Lumiere voiced by the great Jerry Orbach.  He’s such a dastardly lamp.

Doodle 959 - Disney Captain Silver

Continuing the Disney character pencil sketches, I thought I’d doodle good ol’ Captain Silver from the awesome Treasure Planet movie.  You have to love space pirates!

Doodle 958 – Flintheart Glomgold

doodle 958 - Disney Flintheart Glomgold

For this doodle I remembered the best villain from Duck Tales, Flintheart Glomgold.  I loved grumpy little guy.

Doodle 957 – Abu

doodle 957 - Disney Abu

This Abu didn’t come out as well as I had hoped, but that’s all I had time for today.  I loved the way he and Carpet fought in the first Aladdin movie.

Doodle 956 – Lilo

doodle 956 - Disney Lilo

I thought I’d do a few more pencil sketches of favorite characters from Disney properties.  I’ve drawn Stitch a few times, so I thought I’d draw Lilo instead.

doodle 952 - Pirates of the Caribbean

Tonight after our youngest son went to bed, my older son and I decided to watch the first Pirates of the Caribbean movie.

Doodle 949 – Ferb

September 21, 2011

doodle 949 - Ferb

Our son has moved on from drawing Phineas to now drawing Ferb Fletcher, so I added another member to the band.

Doodle 948 – Zazu

September 20, 2011

doodle 948 - Zazu

With all the Lion King 3D commercials on the TV lately, it reminded me of the character Zazu.  A fuddy-duddy, overprotective, grump.  I act like that sometimes…

Doodle 947 – Phineas

doodle 947 - Phineas

Our 7 year old son asked if I could print him out some pictures of Phineas Flynn so he could draw him, so I thought I’d scribble this doodle real quick.

Doodle 945 – Agent P

doodle 945 - Agent P

We rented the Phineas and Ferb Wii game for the boys this weekend from Red Box, so I doodled up Agent P in a little Karate Gi.

Doodle 839 – Sticky War Bee

doodle 839 - sticky war bee

Today at work this little guy popped in my head, my little homage to all the WWII propaganda stuff the Disney did for the military.

Check out this flickr set for more, I linked to it a few years ago.
